collage of stories and testimonies woven together to help us understand
the conflict in Darfur. 30 minutes
Living in America: The First Amendment Teaching Project
hosted by the Lincoln School in Providence.
This event was sponsored by the RI ACLU. An excerpt from J.D.
Salinger's The Catcher in the Rye was performed by Living
Literature. A question and answer session followed, with the actors role
playing teachers, principles, concerned parents, etc., responding to
students' questions in character.

Rhode Island Remembers: A
Mosaic of Victims' Voices - created from the stories of
six survivors and liberators of W.W.II concentration camps who settled in

Tales of the Fools of Chelm for Temple Habonim in
Barrington, RI
Using four stories about the fabled village of Chelm, three by
Isaac Bashevis Singer and one by Steve Sanfield, we introduce you to the
people in a village of fools: The Snow in Chelm,
Zlateh the Goat, The Feather Merchants, and
The Inn of the Stolen Moon. 45

Valentine's Day Victorian Dinner for the Rhode Island
Historical Society & The Heritage Trust of Rhode Island
was presented at the Lippitt House Museum in Providence. A
Day for Lovers, stories and poems about love included Sonnets From
the Portuguese #18 by Elizabeth Barrett Browning, Aurelia's
Unfortunate Young Man by Mark Twain, The Haircut by Raymond
Carver, Long Walk to Forever by Kurt Vonnegut, Jr., You Were
Perfectly Fine by Dorothy Parker, and The Telephone by Robert
