The AS220 Community Printshop is committed to providing an affordable, quality printmaking education for its students and members while simultaneously creating rewarding teaching opportunities for experienced Keymembers and printmakers in our community.

Not sure which class might be best for you? Come to one of our monthly Open Houses, held the first Tuesday of each month from 6-7pm!Sign up, Payment and Cost
Our monthly Open House is an opportunity for people to shake hands with the AS220 Community Print Shop, sign up for a class, see the facilities, or ask questions about membership. Come find the best process to fit your working habits / aesthetic or creative interest.
Each Open House also includes an Orientation which introduces people to the specifics of the AS220 Printshop. For example, we show people our unique lighting and exposure system, rag and clean up procedures, online sign up system, etc. Important: Open House / Orientation is not a substitute for a class on specific techniques. Members need to have taken a class or demonstrated technical proficiency with a portfolio of work in order to have permission to print on a press or with a process.
You can visit the AS220 Online Shop to browse classes, reserve a spot in a class online, and make payment for that class using PayPal or a credit card.
If a set minimum number is not met in class enrollment, the teacher may opt to cancel class. If this is the case, we will give a full refund of your class payment and give you first choice to enroll in future classes. We will attempt to give as much notice as possible--the decision to cancel a class is typically made two days from the beginning of the first session.
If you are interested in teaching a class at the AS220 Printshop, please submit a proposal via e-mail to morgan@as220.org. If the course is a good fit for the shop we will meet with you to discuss the details. Please visit the AS220 Online Store to see what classes we currently offer before submitting a proposal.
The Printshop welcomes groups for tours and special classes, but we do ask that you contact us to schedule your group at least two weeks in advance. Please keep in mind that we are not always able to accommodate large groups without advance notice, particularly if you would like to utilize the Printshop's equipment and resources for a workshop. We are always excited to meet people from local non-profit, educational and professional organizations and look forward to hearing from you!Printmaking Techniques
