Here are Matt O.'s notes on a computer we salvaged from the basement:

"IBM Personal Computer 300 PL"}
Pentium III @ 733/133 MHz}                        could be worse!
128 MB PC133 SDRAM}
WD Caviar HD 6448.6 MB - adequate }
Ethernet NIC
Dell Velocity 128 AGP video card} not too shabby!
according to knoppix, this is really an NVidia/SGS Thomson (Joint  
Venture) Riva 128
Onboard Sound (ESS1988 Allegro-1) - works!

recommedation: add a 512 MB PC133 RAM stick (valued at approx. $50 -  
$60) and someone could have a nice Linux workstation!
