| Nathan Ethier - Paintings
Ethier's work is a dialogue between concrete objecthood and atmospheric space. Within the work is an initial construction which warrants specifically integrated elements. The work is done in a rational, sensible and objective manner and should be viewed as such.
|
| Sarah Kales - Mixed Media, Prints, Drawings
Kales' furniture explores unique designs for contemporary settings. Sarah's inspiration comes from applying new form to the common couch, table and chair. She loves art that is useful and fun. Occasionally, Sarah incorporates driftwood and other discovered items into her work.

| Alec & Joel Thibodeau (String Builder)- From The Curb
From the Curb was a two-month, cross-country journey taken on Greyhound buses in the spring of 1999 by Alec and Joel Thibodeau, who perform their songs as String Builder. Their goal was to explore a larger piece of America by performing in public and asking people the question, "It's 1999, what is American culture?" Rather than speculate on the future, Alec and Joel Thibodeau used From the Curb to address contemporary American culture through first hand experience. In December 1999, the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts awarded String Builder a project grant to complete the From the Curb exhibit.

| Joseph Alexander Heroux - Bugpeople
Heroux was the youngest resident of AS220, spending the first eight months of his existence in utero living on the third floor, breaking the single-occupancy rule, and sneaking past the selection committee. Now that he's five it's time to check in and see what he has been up to artistically. Joe will be showing his drawings of heads, sometimes referred to as bugpeople.
