Who are we?
The AS220 labs is a community electronics labs, and is based upon the idea of Folk Electronics and Digital Design and Fabrication supporting open hardware and software projects. We are a growing community of technically literate artists and makers of all ages whose goal is to provide affordable access to both computer-controlled machinery and technical education. Our lab offers open hours for machine access, technology classes, youth programs and a certification program in Digital Fabrication.
Our goal is to be the digital fabrication technology hub of Rhode Island, come join us!
Formerly AS220 Labs was based out of the Fab Lab on Empire Street in Providence. Our new location: 131 Washington Street, Providence, RI - The main entrance to the labs is around the back of the building on Martha Street.
