AS220 began as a gallery space, and the visual arts remain a major part of the AS220 experience. All areas of AS220 that are open to the public double as gallery spaces. In effect, the AS220 building functions as a mega-gallery, with different portions serving the needs of different artists. The same philosophy applies throughout: AS220 is the unjuried, uncensored presenter for all visual media for all RI artists new, emerging, established, experimental, amateur, professional, occasional... No gallery in RI serves more artists simultaneously.

Our Gallery Director Neal Walsh can be reached at 401 831-9327 ext 114. All you need to do to schedule a show here is make contact. Patience helps. There is a one to two year wait for all our spaces. Please do not let this discourage you. This is not long in the world of art exhibition.

We take a 30% commission for shows mounted.
