AS220 Mission
We, the citizens of Rhode Island, associate ourselves for the purpose of providing a local forum and home for the arts, through the maintenance of residential and work studios, galleries, performance and educational spaces. Exhibitions and performances in the forum will be unjuried, uncensored and open to the general public. Our facilities and services are made available to all artists who need a place to exhibit, perform, or create their original artwork, especially those who cannot obtain space to exhibit or perform from traditional sources because of financial or other limitations.

Over Thanksgiving weekend, AS220 kicked off its Annual Fund Drive. This year's goal is to raise $25,000 from individuals as part of our $2.8 million organization-wide budget. With your help, we are confident that we will meet and beat that goal! Need a reason to give? We'll give you 220.

AS220 is committed to providing affordable access to the arts, and we invite you to join in that promise through the AS220 2011 Fund Drive. This is your opportunity to make a lasting impact in your community and to show, through action, your commitment to maintaining Providence and the greater region as the true Creative Capital.
#2 - Pay Less in Taxes!
Since we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, your contribution - be it $10 or $10,000 - can be tax deductible in accordance with IRS regulations. So - make it rain!
#3 - Creative Place-Making Salon
If you are able to commit $500 or more, AS220 is pleased to offer you and a guest admission to a Spring 2012 Creative Place-Making Salon with Artistic Director Umberto Crenca and guest speaker Maria Rosario Jackson, illuminating the role of arts and culture in community development.

Your past support of AS220 has made us what we are today. It is the collective generosity of people like you who make our work possible and worthwhile. We hope we can count on you as we work to solidify our base of support!
