Thrilling news! As the temperature rises, downcity's favorite arts space has seen fit to strip off a few layers. Our heretofore veil of mystery will be lifted, and AS220's newest appendage, The Mercantile Block, will, like so many tiara and crinoline adorned debutantes before it, make its debut into society. Though the Mercantile still remains mid-construction, our 22 residential studios, 11 work spaces, 3 rehearsal rooms, and soon-to-be homes of the AS220 Labs and Printshop are beginning to take shape. Sneak a peak this Saturday, May 22, between 1 and 3 pm to see what we've been up to. We'll be hanging out and giving tours, with rental information and applications at the ready.
