William was eating and reading issue #27 of the Muzine ( which is AS220/Broad St Studio's youth run magazine ) when he saw this image taken by youth photographer Benito Rios. While he was understandably taken by this sad/beautiful image he did what few people do. He went to the trouble of contacting me to see if this photograph was for sale. William ordered a 16x20" version of this photograph which Benito and I printed together. In the future we are working towards easier access for interested individuals to the photographic work of our youth photographers in the Photographic Memory program. It has been exciting to see how Benito's work can move people from afar. To see more of Benito's work go to www.AS220.org/photographicmemory and check out student portfolios.
