I like art because it is a way for me to express myself. The subjects that I prefer are music and poetry. The people that influence my poetry and music are my friends, my family, and my culture . My dad was in a marching band when he lived in Guatemala. I first picked up a snare drum at the age of 5 when I was over at cousin’s house. I am currently in the AS220 street band also knew as the ZuKrew e. The ZuKrew e has no specific style; we will play hip hop beats , rock beats, reggaton beats - we will play any beat of any genre of music. Each member of the ZuKrew e brings a different element to the table and when we put or elements together we make music like no other group can.
