BSS Shout Out to PVD Horn Players
Do you play trumpet, trombone, saxophone, baritone or tuba? Do you want to work with incredibly talented young artists to create a street band sound that is unique to urban youth culture? Yeah? Yeah! Oh yeah.
The Broad Street Beats - a hot new street band born out of as220's Broad Street Studios - will take to the streets and stage at this year's Foo Fest, August 15th. Combining hip hop, samba, and reggaeton, the BSB is all about original beats to make people dance, spit, and bob heads.
BSB is looking to flesh out its small horn section for the Foo Fest performance (5-6pm.) We perform 4 songs together with Broad Street Studio dancers, beatmakers, and rappers. There will be four afternoon, early evening rehearsals beginning in early August.
