In addition to providing after school arts workshops at AS220, Broad Street Studio has a visiting artist series. Come talk about you work, your process, and what its like to be an artist in Rhode Island.It can take a variety of formats from thirty minute presentation to a four hour workshop. The opportunity to do an artist talk is available at both our Empire Street and Rhode Island Training School locations.

This is a great way for our young people to learn more about the community that surrounds them and to gain inspiration from contemporary working artists who are passionate and are enthusiastic about the arts. We also ask that you set aside some time to offer youth feedback on their artwork in your presentation. It is meant to be fun and casual - we like to have a good time over here!
