Sisters with Gianna -
Broad Street Studio SISTERS come together as a group of people who identify as female to discuss issues that they share and how to address them. Participants find value in discussing these issues with each other because of the ways they can all relate. The group follows these steps: Self Reflection; Education; Group Reflection; Creation; and Action. This process is called the Sisters Cycle. Through the Sisters Cycle, participants educate themselves and others, using the arts, about issues affecting them and their communities. This workshop will be molded by the young women who choose to participate in it. Everything will be decided by the group including: which day to meet, types of art projects, what issues to discuss and how to convey these issues to the greater community (whether that be to Broad Street Studio or to people from the larger community).

Muzine and Hidden TREWTH with Gianna - Mondays from 5-7pm
The MUZINE is a youth-run publication of the uncensored voices of young people in Rhode Island. In MUZINE Production we will work to build sustaining systems to acquire submissions from youth within and outside of Broad Street Studio. Along with obtaining submissions, participants in this workshop will design and layout the publication, making it ready to print and distribute for each showcase. The production team will be comprised of the MUZINE staff, a core group of people dedicated to all aspects of the MUZINE, as well as MUZINE volunteers (participants who want to help out but cannot make the same time commitment as staff).
