For the past three weeks some of the girls at Broad Street Studio have been working closely with literary activist Anne Elizabeth Moore, the Artist In Residence at AS220 for the month of May. The girls are assisting Anne with an ongoing project she has been working on independently called New Girl Law or Chbap Srei in Cambodian.

Together, with the first large group of young feminists in Cambodia, Moore has been working to rewrite a Cambodian document that was written in 1863 which dictates feminine culture in the country, the project will inevitably take the form of a letter pressed book as well as an audio book. The young women at Broad Street studio have been making zines inspired by the Cambodian girls' work as well as collaborating with Anne on doing some of the audio recordings that will be a part of the culmination of the Anne's project.
