HipHop220's "Best of Both Worlds" workshop was determined to produce three musical compositions. These pieces were made through collaboration between youth in the Broad Street Studio's HipHop220 and youth from the Rhode Island Training School Hip Hop workshops. The unique feature of "Best of Both Worlds" was the youth that collaborated never met.

Throughout the workshop, youth not only record their songs, they also had a hand in matching instrumental BPM, generating a universal topic and theme for the project, creating vocal arrangements, and influencing the cover art that will accompany the project provided by BSS's Product Design Team.
The "Best of Both Worlds" workshop got some help from the AS220 Community as well to help make the voices on the tracks sound amazing. Joey Beats (of Non-Prophets) and DJ Discrete (Of Pressure Group) supplied the music and Chris Warren supplied the mix downs.
