The 2nd Annual Providence Anarchist Bookfair is being held on Saturday, July 15th
in conjunction with AS220's FOO FEST anniversary celebrations on Empire
Street in Downtown Providence, Rhode Island. The Providence Anarchist
Bookfair is being organized as an opportunity to exchange anarchist and
anti-authoritarian ideas. The bookfair and all related street-fair
activities are free to attend and open to the public.
BOOKING A TABLE
Tables are $25 (with sliding scale for people willing to share space).
Included in your fee will be a 6x2 table, chairs, and a spot under one
of the street tents. Space is limited so please sign up now if you'd
like to sponsor a table. To book a table, contact Sue at
sue@circleacycles.com. Priority within the bookfair itself will be on
the written word (books, pamphlets, zines, audio-visual materials) by
groups including publishers, distributors, and action-oriented groups
as well as individuals. We will also accept, on a case-by-case basis
information, participation from community/activist groups, small
publishers, and vendors of materials such as buttons, T-shirts or
patches who fit within these principles.
Vendors should arrive at 11am on Saturday morning to set up their
space. The bookfair is scheduled to start at 12pm and vendors have the
option to stay till the street fair ends at 1am.

AS220 FOO FEST
AS220's street-fair is an amazing event that draws thousands of people
to downtown Providence. The Providence bookfair is a chance to interact
with people who have never been introduced to anarchist thought. Local
and national bands will be rockin' on 3 different stages all day long.
In addition to the bookfair, the streetfest will feature the Rock n'
Roll Record Sale and the Bizarre Bizaar, plus food, beer, artists'
booths, games and more!
