Eric Hastings (drums, percussion, MIDI triggers) and Brian Knoth (guitar, electronics) are the Hastings/Knoth Duo. Their music combines loosely structured compositions with healthy doses of improvisation. Collectively, the music draws from influences as far ranging as instrumental rock, free jazz, fusion, and ambient electronic. They are known to perform with guests on a regular basis, often including upright bass, and sometimes, saxophone, additional percussion and/or strings.
