Wind & Ghosts - Formed in December of 2011 by high school friends Charles and Ricky shortly after their ten-year class reunion, Wind & Ghosts is, like the present moment itself, a culmination of past events as well as a hint of things to come. Utilizing an acoustic guitar and a lap steel – those hoary old staples of blues and country – this Rhode Island-based two-piece weaves complex arrangements with roots in American Primitivism and Musique Concrete as well as the improvised abandon of experimental free jazz and art school noise. Think John Cage conducting the Glenn Branca Ensemble, or Lightning Bolt’s mid-60s Takoma Records output. Think of Lovecraft’s epitaph, crawling with moss in the balmy Swan Point night; add one digit to that and you’ll have it. WE ARE PROVIDENCE.

Corey R-J – is originally of Warwick, Rhode Island, but has recently relocated to Boston, MA in hopes of further establishing himself within the music industry. Since 2004,he has been writing, recording, and preforming with various local acts across New England, and have only in recent years begun to write, record and perform as a solo musician. Using styles of rock, pop, and jazz influenced from artists such as, The Early November, Minus The Bear, and The Rocket Summer he is able to write, record and self-produce all instruments and material to ultimately create his own unique and original sound. Most recently, on July 31,2012 , Corey released his debut 6 song electric EP entitled “Time & Travels”. Each instrument and song is self-produced and documents some sort of life experience, struggle, change, or growth, that has ultimately determined his life within the past years. In support of this album he has recently returned from a 2 week tour throughout the north/southeast including states such as RI, MA, NJ, NYC, PA, VA and TN.
