Meeting of AS220 Board of Directors

1. Call to Order 6:10       

  Angela is now Director of Development for AS220

2. Approval of Minutes

3. Dreyfus

  * We are 90% closed out here

  * Last installment of the tax credits will be released when some
    remaining tasks are completed

4. Director's Report

  * Bert reported that we are examining how real estate development is 
    structured and handled here (among other roles), and we plan to
    define it so we understand the roles and duties. We are also looking
    at HR issues and how that affects the way we define and manage these
    roles and duties.

  * We will be organizing one or more offsite meetings, all-hands,
    separate committees, or both, to address these issues. 

5. Finance Committee - Shawn and Michael

  * FY08 Budget v. previous month was presented
  * Budget is still showing a small loss ($9k), so it's not up
    for approval.

6. Membership Update - Angela

  * Membership goodies are ready to go out (cards, bumper stickers,
    new calendar design)

  * Angela has ordered business cards and they are almost here.

  * Angela will be managing the installation of stickers & signing of 
    agreements with participating vendors

7. Broad Street - Sam

  * Photographic memory is bringing students to the RISD Museum
    to present a slide show about their work.

  * Photographic memory working on photographic work for The Institute
    for the Study and Practice of Non Violence.

  * Funding efforts are ongoing

  * Broad Street Studio has hired a new AS220/RITS Arts and Mentor
    Coordinator to represent AS220 at the Rhode Island Training School

  * Broad Street is transforming the Empire Street offices.
