Tim Hiles has been recording live music from all over the country for the last two and a half years. His appreciation for the Providence live music scene constantly brings him to AS220 to record the many great musicians that take stage in our performance space. His personal favorite recording at AS220 so far is the Bonedust set from the Corleone Records 5th Anniversary show, which he enthusiastically donates to the AS220 website for all to enjoy.

Tim is the engineer and host of the long-running show Live Block on Brown Student and Community Radio, 88.1 WELH. Live Block gives musicians a chance to perform on the radio, and be streamed live over the internet, exposing them to a wider audience that they may not have been otherwise able to reach. All of these performances are archived on the BSR website.
Tim also hosts the show, "Wherever the Music Takes Me," playing the live music he has recorded over the past few years. The music he plays is as varied as the locations it is recorded at. All of the shows are archived on the BSR website.
In addition to being a radio DJ and engineer, Tim works full time at a private company in Cumberland as both a multimedia editor and as an A/V technician. His company sends him all around the country to perform a job he loves, and he gets to see a little bit of America in the process. Tim also works part time at the music rehearsal complex, JamStage, with long time friends Charlie and Phil.
