Fools Ball 2003

On Saturday May 17, 2003, AS220 will host its 9th Annual Fools Ball. Fools Ball #9 promises to be better than ever. We will not only be using our building at 115 Empire Street but, thanks to Trinity's generosity, we will be partying double at the Citizens Bank building just up the street. It's a Double House Party and the theme this year is Babylon! It's sure to bring out the sin in even the most straight laced. This event has become the party of the year.

Photos from the party:

The Fools Ball on Saturday May 17th will be THE party of the year. It will begin at 7pm with an elegant cocktail party with light entertainment at the Citizens Bank Building. Then at 9pm we open the AS220 Cafe and performance space. The carnival games will open, the prizes will be shown and the debauchery will begin. There will be 2 full bars, 2 dance floors, 4 goofy games and we guarantee a good time will be had by all.

AS220 is the living, breathing heart of the Rhode Island arts community, and this community is on display at every Fools Ball. With 12 programs serving 9,500 artists, 5,000 children, over 25,600 attendees annually, 10 staff members and 21 resident artists, AS220 relies on community participation in everything it does. As we move on through the planning stages of Fools Ball #9, we hope that we can count on you to support AS220 and its programs.

A Week-Long Party
